The Greene County Ram volleyball team host a Heart of Iowa triangular in the middle school gym Thursday and won both matches.
The Rams topped PCM 25-15, 25-16, 25-10. Alison Gallagher served 11 of 12 and had three aces. Katelyn Hagen served 11 of 11 with one ace, and Hannah Promes served 15 of 15 with two aces.
Megan Durbin had six kills and Nadia Fisher had seven. Promes was credited with 27 assists. Gallagher had 10 digs, Hagen had nine, and Hannah Stein had six.
Scores against Saydel were 25-15, 25-15, 25-23. Hagen served at 16 of 16 with four aces and Promes was 13 of 13 with one ace.
Durbin and Fisher both had 10 kills. Promes had 32 assists. Kenna Marquardt had 11 digs and Stein had nine.
“We finally had the opportunity to play at home. I could tell the team was excited to play on their home court and they did not disappoint their fans,” coach Donna Carhill said. “We are really starting to see this team come together and work as a unit. The win tonight was a total team effort in both matches.”
